Styles and panel width

The available reference widths are:

• Compact: 760 px.
• Standard: 900 px.
• Wide: 1120 px.

The selected value does not force the panel to overflow the screen when less space is available.

Use a more compact width when you prefer a contained panel and a wider option when you need more space for columns and shortcuts.

Width selection is independent of the Auto, Light or Dark theme.

The panel progressively reduces its layout as the available width decreases. On wide screens it can display several columns, while on small screens the content is reorganised to preserve readability.

For this reason, the configured width should be understood as a reference size rather than a rigid width on every device.

Core and Pro share the basic Alamarte Admin Menu presentation. The availability of certain customisation options may vary depending on the installed edition.

When switching between Core and Pro, compatible parameters are preserved. Values belonging to Pro-only features can remain stored even when Core does not apply them.

1. Save the module configuration.
2. Open Admin Menu again.
3. Check the panel width and column layout.
4. Reduce the window width to confirm that the panel adapts correctly.
5. Also review the result with the Light and Dark themes when you use them.
